Vintage Extremely Rare Venus Professional Divers Watch, 1960s, NOS Stunning

  

Venus Professional Divers Automatic Stainless Steel circa 1960s, NOS. Very cool looking large 42mm diameter case divers model ref 822 circa 1960s with prominent orange and cream color bakelite elapsed time bezel, large screw down partially recessed crown, and with original dark matte blue dial with large simple graphic indexes and oversize luminous hands. Powered by the self winding SWISS ETA caliber 2783 incabloc movement with sweep seconds and date at 6 oclock. Original SWISS signed dial has sloped outer edge with white printed minute indexes, and matching aged tritium luminous on extended hour indexes and arrow tipped match stick style hands. It has a brand new blue dial matching calf leather strap.

The watch is circa 60 years old and although in perfect working NOS condition it does near minimal storage related wear. NOTE: tested for 5 bars water resistance, but like most other vintage models, no longer guaranteed for swimming, showering, or other submersion.
