1979 Extremely rare New 2 Pence 1979 circulated condition. Great for collectors

  
Produced between 1971 and 1981, the coin features the words'new pence', used on all the 2 pence coins until'two pence' was introduced in 1982. Obverse: Portrait by Arnold Machin (used until 1984). It features the Queen wearing the' Girls of Great Britain and Ireland' tiara. Reverse: Badge of the Prince of Wales: a plume of ostrich feathers within a coronet, above the German motto'Ich dien' ('I serve').
