The batch code is on the back of the bottle and is: UC340E making it a 2006 bottle, exactly 17 years and 2 months old as of the time of this listing. Ambre Soie by itself, even in its more current presentations, is extremely hard to find, due to it being discontinued for years, it is scarce (never seen on the market and very rare).

Additionally factoring in, this is a vintage rendition with the original scent as the perfumer originally intended it, only 2 years after its release - this is the original batch. This is a bottle that in the grand scheme of things has barely been touched full to the top, with the exception of no more than three sprays.

To my knowledge this is the only bottle on the market worldwide, there is no other bottle that is full or in this condition. The outer box seen in the photo is covered in this matte-finished dark brown material that is satisfactory to the touch, on the front is the name of the scent collection. His is written on a rose gold/ burnt orange label. There are only the most minute scuffs on the outside of the box considering the 17-year age, it has been kept extremely well.

The scent is a brilliant collector's item in its very early Armani Prive collection presentation. Notice the bottle is encased in a slightly higher quality and more minimalistic presentation. An outer wooden box encases a bottle, the bottom has a rose gold or burnt orange coloured thin metal plate with the name of the scent and other details inscribed on it, this is also used as a tool to unscrew the bottom circular stopper - giving the user access to the actuall bottle within the wooden casing. (The unscrewing must be done gently, please take caution unscrewing the stopper at the bottom/underside of the bottle casing, the thin metal plate could bend or the stopper or bottom break considering, again, this a 17-year-old scent). The actual stopper alongside the thin metal plate is magnetic.

The bottle comes with the classical Armani Prive top shaped like a stone, this time in a light brown which sometimes looks darker in different lighting. There is a slight smudge on the inside of the box where the "stone-design" top may have smudged the inside of the box over years of opening and closing, the outermost box is in tip-top condition but again this is 17 years old. The scent is unique, this is for the ones who like amber and spicey scents; not cardamon, not cinnamon, spices such as pepper, ginger, and clove play a role and this scent has, as the name suggests, amber alongside these notes is a streak of patchouli, this is a unique scent one that is pepper forward.
