New York Consolidated Playing Card Company, 1898 Antique "Squeezers" #35. This deck was manufactured in the U. The cards are in very good condition with a couple of exceptions. The box is in one piece, but rather tattered and torn.

The box mentions NYCCC's gold medal awarded at the 1878 World's Fair in Paris. The back of the cards have the classic image for Squeezers, the dogs Trip and Squeezer... Trip was short for Triplicate, the line of cards that were made by Andrew Dougherty. And Squeezer was the patented card design by NYCCC.

The history of these two card manufacturers is very interesting and worth seeking more info about. And in my opinion, one of the coolest jokers ever made...

Except for a color version in a different deck entirely, is included. Please see photos for further detail.
