Extremely Rare Cobra, Shelby HiPo GT350 289 302 Intake Manifold

  

As you can see this manifold is in pristine never used condition. Simply put I decided to go with a Cobra theme in my Cobra and save my Shelby manifold in case I wanted to do a Shelby GT350 Mustang later down the road; but Ive decided that my next project will be another cobra with my son and grandson. As told to me by some of the best Mustang restoration shops: the reason this manifold is so rare is because it was only available for select years and from select Ford dealers and performance outlets. If youre building a Cobra like me I would suggest going with the more affordable S2MS-9424-A Cobra manifold. Building a cobra themed Mustang with Cobra air cleaner and valve covers, my advice is to stick with the Cobra manifold as there are numerous retailers, and its almost always available.

I only suggest this manifold for someone who is looking to complete their Shelby themed GT350, but will work on all 302 based engines. The letters OECO are on the bottom runner, though Im not 100% sure what that means Im told it is marking from the machinist, 3 out of the 4 people Ive spoke with tell me that this marking was from Offenhauser casting and machine in Los Angeles California, where these were machined prior to the 1980. Numbers 12/75 are on the bottom runner, Ive been told that this is a date marking put on by the foundry that cast the manifold.

Though Im not exactly sure this piece looks to be 35-50 years old (44 years old if the date marking on the manifold is correct)! Please no tire kickers, serious engine builders and restorers only!
